Signature Hole
Golf Scottsdale on Sanctuary No. 18
And Experience the Pinnacle of Scottsdale Golf
If you are looking for a reason to get out and golf Scottsdale, you have found it on Sanctuary's Hole No. 18. The 516-yard par 5 finishing hole at the Sanctuary Golf Course is a classic risk reward golf hole. The chance to make an eagle or birdie is very tempting, but if not careful, a double bogey is very possible. A narrow landing area is guarded by a bunker on the right and on the left is a very treacherous wash; a well-placed drive will be rewarded with a chance to reach the green in two.
The player who can manage this dogleg left, split fairway, up-hill par 5 is usually rewarded with a birdie opportunity.
To golf Scottsdale at Sanctuary Golf Course is truly a scenically beautiful and rewarding experience. When you stand on the 18th tee box or on the green, the vistas are spectacular in all directions because you will be 600 feet above the valley floor. You will see Pinnacle Peak and the McDowell Mountain Preserve to the north and Camelback, Squaw Peak, and Mummy Mountains to the south, surrounded by the Valley of the Sun. If you get the opportunity to watch the sunset from the 18th hole or on the clubhouse patio, you will be in for a real treat.
